What Is Instant Orthodontics?

Instant orthodontics is a completely different paradigm for tooth straightening. Instead of shifting your tooth roots around, instant orthodontics uses porcelain veneers to reshape your teeth so they fit together in a straighter, more attractive way. Instant orthodontics is a great way to correct:

• Gaps
• Crooked teeth
• Rotated teeth

It is less successful at treating crowded teeth, and it may not be recommended if you have serious bite issues that can damage the porcelain veneers. If you are not a candidate for instant orthodontics, we may recommend traditional braces or Invisalign.

Instant orthodontics has many advantages that people appreciate. The speed of treatment, of course, is one of the most important advantages. Because the porcelain veneers process is relatively quick, the treatment takes a couple weeks, not many months, a year, or more like traditional orthodontics and Invisalign.

In some cases, repairing or reshaping a tooth may require a dental crown instead of a porcelain veneer.
