Have you heard of a program called Project PAYBAC yet? Project Payback, which stands for “Partners Assisting Youth, Business, and Community,” is a group Premier Dental is very excited to be a part of! It’s a organization within Millard Public Schools intended to strengthen the link between the business community and students at Millard Public Schools to educate kids about businesses.

Project PAYBAC provides support for Milliard Public Schools. Its focus is on experiential, multi-disciplinary learning that takes place within schools, as well as at other locations. The businesses that partner with Project PAYBAC vary across the board in terms of industry and size, but share a passion for building strong relationships and setting the stage for cooperation and community involvement.

Premier Dental’s involvement with Project PAYBAC stems from Dr. Beninato’s family! He and his wife have 4 children who currently attend Milliard Public Schools, so this partnership seemed like a natural fit. Supporting kids and education is a fundamental belief at Premier Dental, and we’re happy to be involved with Project PAYBAC!

We are excited to announce that as a result of our partnership with Project PAYBAC, our office was nominated for a Trailblazer Award! This award recognizes Project PAYBAC partners that have established new and innovative programs in schools. Thank you so much for the nomination both Russell Middle School and Rohwer Elementary!

Wondering what we did at each school?

At Russel Middle School, our team at Premier Dental helped with a program that promoted the reading of a book called “Wonder.” The book is centered around the theme of kindness, and to encourage the school we funded t-shirts for the school’s staff to wear on “Wonder” reading days.

For Rohwer Elementary, we did something a little more dental related. This last February, we visited the school to promote Children’s Dental Health Month! Dr. Piper Larson and our staff had the children do a hands-on activity with Play-Doh and Legos to demonstrate the importance of flossing and good dental hygiene. We wanted the students to walk away with a better understanding of proper oral hygiene and healthy snacks, and they were encouraged to participate in our coloring contest!

We were honored and thrilled to be nominated for the Trailblazer Award, and we look forward to further efforts within the community as a part of Project PAYBAC!
